Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos est un jeu de stratégie en temps réel classique de 2002 qui reste accessible grâce à des exigences système minimales. Avec seulement 128 Mo de RAM et 700 Mo d'espace disque, il peut fonctionner sur presque n'importe quel ordinateur moderne. Le jeu propose quatre races différentes (humains, orcs, morts-vivants et elfes de la nuit), chacune avec un gameplay unique, offrant une variété stratégique. Le scénario fantasy dans Azeroth est riche et immersif. Cependant, les acheteurs doivent tenir compte des graphismes datés et de la faible résolution (800x600), ce qui limite l'expérience visuelle. La compatibilité avec les systèmes d'exploitation modernes peut être problématique car il a été développé à l'origine pour Windows 98/ME/2000/XP. Malgré les limitations techniques, il reste un jeu de stratégie apprécié des fans du genre.

I loved the fact that if you were defeated on a level you got the option to try again with a lower difficulty so you could get through it. This was great for me then, and even now as my plan of attack is having as many units as possible split into a few groups, attacking enemies at different points with even more units sitting back at the base, just waiting to head out if a group gets obliterated! I certainly don’t have a strategy, and just believe in strength in numbers! Warcraft III always did have a nice learning curve, though, that gradually eased you into things with both base building, exploration and the combat side of things.

The Warcraft 3 series is easily one of the best RTS collections ever. If you're into RTS games at all, play these games. You will not regret it.
