Go Vacation - Switch Switch Video Game

Go Vacation is just like a real holiday - if you go off and do your own thing rather than following the signposts, it's surprisingly enjoyable

Go Vacation remplit à merveille ses fonctions en proposant de nombreuses activités et un gameplay plaisant. Le tout est magnifié par une sensation de liberté enivrante. On pourra évidemment reprocher les soucis de maniabilité, mais seul ou à plusieurs le titre apportera une bonne dose de rire et c'est bien là ce que l'on attend. Dommage que la version Switch ne soit qu'un simple portage, mais si vous arrivez à mettre les graphismes de côté, il y a de quoi s'amuser.

Nintendo et les party games, c'est une longue histoire d'amour. Et avec une Switch permettant de jouer facilement à plusieurs, il était logique de voir sortir et ressortir des titres allant dans ce sens. C'est le cas de Go Vacation, développé par Bandai Namco et sorti une première fois sur Wii en 2011. N'ayant à priori pas rencontré le succès escompté à l'époque, ce jeu tente à nouveau sa chance pour cet été 2018.

Cubed3 Rating Go Vacation is a medley of summer activities - whether it's tearing up the sand in an ATV or trying to get a horse to ascend a castle and desperately leap over a river, because you can. Rather than a small number of traditional activities, Bandai Namco has gone all-inclusive with four resorts to explore - on foot, by train, on a skateboard, or even on a jet-ski. There's a surprisingly vast amount of content to discover and unlock in what many may assume could have been a shallow selection. It's a refined package that, whilst still harks back to the Wii era, feels more in-line with the Nintendo Switch offering for the most part. There are some odd control decisions for solo Joy-Con users, and some odd mini-games in the pot, but Go Vacation is a solid destination to visit - whether on a solo trip or having a bunch of friends tag along for the journey.
