The Surge est un jeu d'action-RPG sci-fi difficile avec un combat rapproché intense et un système de ciblage des membres unique. Les joueurs doivent naviguer dans un monde dystopique rempli d'ennemis mortels et de boss, en utilisant la stratégie pour surmonter les défis. Bien que le jeu propose un système de crafting riche et des environnements beaux, il souffre de sauts de difficulté frustrants, de problèmes de contrôle de caméra et de certains éléments oubliables comme la musique et la conception des boss. Globalement, c'est un choix solide pour les fans de jeux similaires à Souls à la recherche d'une touche sci-fi.

Graphics and gameplay are not bad, but you end up playing through the same bits of the game (with the same bots you just killed) over and over whenever you upgrade. Makes the game tediuous and repetitive after the first couple of screens. Good concept - poor execution. Would not recommend.

Likes You are thrown into the action quite quickly Although there is a tutorial style start, it is not too long and is part of the story. The graphics are great Dislikes As mentioned in previous reviews, the camera can be a little annoying in its choice of angles and the changing of them can be a challenge The difficulty rampup is a bit agressive for my tastes All in all a reasonable title. Not to my tastes though.

I got this for my 18 year old son who's far better qualified to review it. Here are his thoughts. Great game play, with impressive graphics. I initially became irritated at the continual back-tracking needed, but it is worth the perseverance.Has a lot of similarities to Dark Souls, but not as quite as good. Not a straight shoot-em-up, certain requires some thought and planning. I've been playing this game for over a month since it was released and at the time of writing this review the price has fallen by over a third and now at under 25ukp I'd say it's brilliant value for money.

Gameplay for me which is reminiscent (world-wise) of Red Faction merged with Warhammer merged with Titanfall. It makes sense in my head. I loved watching Cohh stream this on Twitch so was looking forward to getting a chance to play it myself. Easy to pick up, but nearly impossible to put down, the gameplay is addictive. Clunky camera angles in part are forgiven with a smooth gaming engine and engagingly entertaining gameplay. Responsive controls and no lag; no odd bugs and weird hitboxes. I'd recommend this to any Xbox gamer, especially fans of strategic levelling games such as Souls.
