Monster Hunter Generations Standard Nintendo 3DS

This is a mix of MH3U and MH4U. Most of the characters from the two previous games will make appearances as well as many of the field maps. No swimming but mounting monsters has been transferred to this game. The biggest addition is the special moves you can now perform. In fact the game pretty much revolves around it. My biggest gripe would be the small monsters have been made to be INSANELY ANNOYING. You will not be left alone to carve or gather for a second without a small monster knocking into you. Also; compared to MH4U the story is a bit lacking. In the end it's a great game with unlimited replay value. Be prepared to sink at least a couple hundred hours into it.

while its not as accessible as monster hunter world it is honestly worth a play if you like that game, its a bit more obtuse and grind than world is in my experience but i had a lot of fun with it despite the controls. even with the new 3DS nub it is a pain in the butt to control. it may be better on switch though... or through an emulator with a controller.
