Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers est un jeu de combat nostalgique avec des visuels mis à jour et de nouveaux personnages. Il propose à la fois des graphismes classiques et HD, un multijoueur local et en ligne, ainsi que des couleurs de personnages personnalisables. Cependant, il manque de contenu nouveau significatif, est coûteux, et les contrôles Joy-Con peuvent être difficiles à utiliser. Le mode Way of the Hado est également décevant. Malgré ces inconvénients, il reste une expérience amusante et portable pour les fans de la série.
