Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz HD propose plus de 100 niveaux colorés et quelques mini-jeux amusants, surtout en multijoueur. Les contrôles sont améliorés par rapport à l'original, mais la conception des niveaux est souvent simple et le défi manque parfois. Les combats de boss sont souvent jugés frustrants et le mode solo a peu de rejouabilité. Il y a aussi moins de mini-jeux que dans les anciens jeux, ce qui peut décevoir les fans. Great game! Plays just like the old GameCube ones but with an added jump button. Mini games are a blast and the story mode was a fun challenge.

A welcome revival of a much-loved franchise, although Banana Blitz was never the best entry and Sega has had to accept too many compromises in porting it from the Wii.
