Canon 12x36 IS III

Really impressed with the binoculars. I was gutted to see the price drop by £124 two weeks after purchase. I wish companies wouldn't do this.

Had to purchase the image stabilising binoculars after looking thru a friends pair. Game changer.

Very good quality build, and once set up for a user's eyes very effective.

Bought these 18 months ago for my wife to replace the previous version which still worked well, but thought it was time for an update. The new ones have been used only on two occasions. I also have the 12 x version. So real Canon fans regarding Binoculars. After the first time used this 10x pair showed wear in four places just roughed Rubber when simply rubbing on coat as walking. Having just used them for a 3 day Birding trip the same thing has happened except now its through to the Metal in 3 places. Most annoying especially as the previous pair I used for over 10 years and had no signs of damage. This looks to me that the coating is simply to thin in comparison to the old styles. So to Sum up still great IS and clarity but poor for durability. Just to say we are precious with our equipment always back in the case when not being used, etc.

Excelllent binoculars. Had my eyes on them for a few years and am glad to have bought them. Once set up, they performed faultlessly with image stabilisation permitting viewing of very fine detail.
