Purchased this LEGO 'wrecker truck' for my 6 yr old son for Christmas as he loves LEGOs and asked for a wrecker truck. Perfect combination with this set!! It was a little complicated to put together by himself so Dad helped him. It is a really neat vehicle that has opening doors and a hook that can actually 'tow' other toy vehicles. Keep the instructions on how to build if your kids like to disassemble them and want them put back together *exact* later on.

It is so fun because I turned it into a police truck and I played with it for like more then 2 years!!!

Grandson was thrilled with these legos, put together the next day and said it was his favorite truck.

This tow truck is a good idea. However; there are some flaws with the design. For Starters, the Lego set has pieces that don't stay down. I have on several occasions had my son come running in frustration to the fact that it is not staying together. My son has other Lego sets like the logging truck that stays together, or the artic helicrane that only the rooters fall off of. This truck falls apart in so many places. I am so frustrated with this set. I am almost tempted to think If I glued some of the pieces together would they stay?
