So my son asked for "new Lego" and "a helicopter" for Christmas so this is what I got him! I'm new to Lego (I've only ever built one thing before which is the caravan and car) I just really enjoy putting it together! This took me 1 hr 30 mins which I know is probably so slow compared to experienced Lego enthusiasts! My son (and myself!) are so impressed with it!! The instructions are simple enough and I look forward to my next purchase and build!

LEGO City theme has several helicopters in its range and set 60179 Ambulance Helicopter is a standout due to its bright yellow and red colour which is perfect for a rescue helicopter. It comes with 3 minifigures, 2 who have a new design paramedic uniform which is great, and a green snowboarder with snowboard. Worth buying? Yes, absolutely.
