This model is really cool and was very fun to build. The set was not that hard to build, and I am very pleased with the final product. The interior is probably the most realistic part, but the least recognizable. There are two cars not counting the engine. The first car is more for regular minifigures, but the second one is much more fancy and elegant. I think that LEGO made the second one look really nice and cozy, but the first one is a little barren and I think it has room to improve. I like the outside of this train very much. It has a nice sleek look, which I think gives a perfect finishing touch to this model. Another thing I really like is that LEGO has included a female minifigure to drive the train. One thing that I did not like about this model is that it does not come with power functions. I think that it would have been a significantly better model if it included them. Overall, this model is amazing and I have fully enjoyed it.

The train has lots of detail and looks great when two of these sets are coupled to each other so there is an engine on each end. One thing to look out for is that this rugged train can be a bit heavy to run on only one motorized truck. I had to add a second power truck to give the lead unit more pulling power and reduce the risk of a wheel slip. Other than that and having to draw a little more current from the battery box, it is a great train set to own and operate. Great for LEGO and Railroad fans.

LOVED IT!!! LOVE TRAINS The Horizon Express train CREATOR EXPERT SET doesn't come with power functions included so had to buy it. I found it not very cool to buy motorised power functions separately and found them very expensive comparing to other train sets you sell already with power functions included and when you sell with functions included a discount on the pack should be considered by lego You could have made a Pack set for this and all other equipment with the train above mentioned. For example like you did with the Fairground Mixer - one pack without power functions, and other with them for sale on your lego shop.

My Grandson loves Legos and this one did not disappoint. He told me before Christmas if he only got one gift this was what he wanted. He and his Dad worked on this one for a couple of hours and both were smiling ear to ear when they decided to stop. Really sleek and well made and I recommend it highly. Has a lot of pieces but sure held his attention and that's saying a lot for an eight year old.
