Grandson and Papaw worked over 3 1/2 hours to put it together then grandson set it on the box and picked it up and it slid off and broke apart.

I bought this as a present for my son who at first saw this at target and said he wanted it for a birthday present but it was pretty high in price at target and I thought maybe amazon would have it at a lower price which I assumed correctly. The price was basically lower than what target had. My son finished building this within 2 hours! He couldn't put it down!

I got this for my kids for Christmas. I didn't know it comes with a light up lego brick! My kids love Legos and will be super excited to have a light! It looks pretty cool!

I love the Lego Creator home line, and they're some of my favorite sets to pick up. Like all Lego kits, this one was well packaged and the build instructions very clear and easy to follow for all three configurations. My only gripe with this set is that for a 700+ piece set, the home configurations look very sort of generic. If I saw this set go on sale, I'm not sure I would have picked it up for myself. In comparison, the old which has a similar number of pieces, feels, to me anyway, like it has a lot more character. This set reminds me of a set that Lego and a mass-home manufacturer got together and designed. Not my favorite of the Creator home series.
