I always got Legos for my son when he was my grandson's age into his teens and apparently he passed that love for legos on to his son (including his whole collection of Legos still complete and in the original boxes). My grandson is a only child so it was easy for his Dad to set up a spare bedroom as his son's Lego room where my Grandson spend spends a lot of his time constructing, playing with and learning valuable developmental skills from his Legos . My Grandson is currently into all things Jurassic Park so it was a no brainer to get him the T.rex Transporter (along with another Jurassic Park set) as his Christmas gift this year. He loved it and had both of his sets put together in a matter of a couple of hours and I got to be part of that which brought back a lot of fond memories of similar expenses I had with my son when He was a child.

This is an excellent Lego set to get for...anyone, really. I bought it for myself and the kiddos love it as well. There's plenty of detail and an interesting build, but playing with the dinosaurs and trucking them around is the fun part! But, for me, it's also a great display piece that sparks conversations about movies, dinos, etc.

My grandson was so excited to receive this for Christmas. He is entertained for hours...his imagination is beyond description.. LEGO’s are expensive, but are worth every dime! LEGO’s build imagination on every level!
