I was originally going to buy this off of amazon, but then I saw it wasn't motorized, so I bought the red lego city passenger train instead. I got from (you know who) for Christmas. Sometimes I made my own train car and put it at the back of the train. This train car had the motor of the red passenger train I got a few months before so it could go around the train track by itself. But one day, I forgot how, my lego train came apart. So I made my own design. And when that got broke I made another design, and when that broke I made another design, and so on.

Great Lego train set! Our 11 year old grandson loves it! We bought the extra parts for him to motorized it. Very very nice set!

Ordered for a birthday for an 11 year old. He was extremely happy with the kit and everything was as expected and arrived in plenty of time.

I bought this set for my son's birthday. He is a train lover and just getting started with Legos. The detail on the train is amazing. We also bought the expansion track packs to make a larger track. I would recommend this set for kids who love trains and legos.

Not disappointed one bit. Was everything my 12 year old grandson had hoped for. However, he completed the project in one day.
