LEGO MINDSTORMS 31313 EV3

This is for die-hards. I was quite excited, but the Lego BOOST is much more fun and engaging/accessible. For own projects the Mindstorms assumes good degree of skill and dedication/time.

I paid alot of money for this product for my 8 year old son who spent most of Christmas day putting the snake together. When we went to insert the battery into he remote control the screws to the remote were tiny and impossible to open. We tried 6 different screw drivers and 2 adults with no luck in getting it open. They were so jammed in. I am furious as now my son can't even use the product after spending so much time building it. I hope LEGO do the right thing and send a replacement remote control.

This is a great kid, as an adult I had fun with it, to try and see if I robotics/mechatronics is something I would like to pursue. However, one of the parts were faulty. The Part Number is 6044688 or CATERPILLAR TRACK [Element 4502834 Design Number53992]. There are two of them in the kit, and one of them is much looser than the other. Will the seller please send me a replacement part?

Brand new out of the box and one of the major and large parts had a crack, on the leg. For the money payed quality is expected.
