I'll be honest. When I heard about this set, I let out a sigh of disappointment. As a collector, I bought it anyway, and was surprised to find that my expectations were wrong. First, it doesn't take itself as seriously as the other sets. It knows it doesn't need one bag for every ten dollars, and chooses to give more pieces per bag. While this doesn't make the build more challenging, I do think that it makes it more engaging. Features are cool, and gives plenty of room to add on using car from the Land Bounty or more accessories. Minifigures are good, and the shrine is appreciated to give the villains a little something too. Despite the iffy price, it felt more than worth the purchase.
