I have autism and this is my favorite LEGO set. I only like to build brand new sets and am sad it’s no longer for sale. My mommy calls everyday to see if it’s for sale. I have 3 of them. Building this car calms me down and makes me happy. I wish my mom can buy more for me.

The finished model is very nice and also sturdy for play, but it is very, very skinny! It could use an extra few bricks down the center to get it into proportion. I don't think it bothered my 10 year old, but I'm sure he noticed.

It's a very nice looking set overall. The driver fits very well in the seat, and all the details about the car fit very well.

After I already got the Bugatti Chiron (which I loved ) I wanted to get another cat from the speed champions set,which I decided to be the Ford Mustang GT. And I made no mistake about getting it,really good set and for a reasonable price. Only one very small thing which was I found the stickers a tiny bit fiddley but definitely worth putting on because they look great!! Would recommend this

While at first I loved the set, the more I used the Mustang, the more flaws I found. The set is well built, and easy to build, however, I feel that the set looks too blocky. LEGO used too many sharp cut ins (ie. the front grill and the side doors) to make the vehicle. The exposed studs also take away from the build. It just does not look right in my eye. However, they did accomplish the goal of making a LEGO car look almost exactly like a Mustang GT. Aside from the flaws with the cut ins and exposed studs, the set is fairly good. I will continue to purchase more LEGO sets from the Speed Champions series.
