This is one of my favourite Speed Champions sets. The mini figure is great and the subject matter is inspired too. The process of building this model feels great. But this is Lego and so it is ok to also do your own thing as well. And with that in mind this set makes it really easy to develop for yourself one of the many McLaren P1 GTR variants.

I got this set in 2015. It's pretty cool! All I've got to say is that this set is a nice thing to have! It looks pretty cool on all sides. PLUS, it's even my mother's favorite color to boot! From what I remember, this was my first LEGO SPEED CHAMPIONS set. Anyway, everyone should have this set! (Review by cheesy. 4/3/2017)

I got this for my 22 year old boyfriend for Christmas because he loves the Mclaren P1, and I think it was his favorite present of the whole year! Lego did a good job with this model, it was very detailed and closely resembled the real P1. It was fun to put together! I didn't expect it to be very challenging but was pleased with the level of dificulty (not too hard,not too easy) and number of small pieces. It took us over an hour to put it together after having a few beers. ;)
