It’s solid, looks really great and priced fair. One of my all time favorites for sure.

Yes, this product is retired but it can be found on BrickLink for a decent price easily. I picked this up recently and I’m glad I did. This was a fun build all around and the finished product looks amazing. Great level of detail and not repetitive, despite it being a ship. This paired with the UCS Tie Fighter looks great on the shelf! My complaints are the same as the others you’ve read, the stickers on the cockpit are an absolute pain, I could have definitely gone without and/or with printed pieces. The set does lean back on its stand, although if you press it against a wall, facing forward, you can tilt it downwards depending at the height you are displaying it. And of course, no pilot! Frustrating, but you can find a Luke fairly easily, would have been nice to have it come with the set however, oversight in my opinion. Regardless of all that, I love this set and do not regret getting it!

For anyone who wants a stock display lego model of the T-65, this is for you. I found the build to be quite easy and there were only about 1500 pieces. Though this model lacks some key features, such as the AFT Chaff/flare launcher, and landing gear. Not to worry, as these are both easily able to be built in to the X-Wing with the right parts (as I did). The other main problem is this does not come with Luke, nor an exclusive mini figure, just a standard/stock R2-D2. The canopy windshield is covered with stickers, not prints; thus, putting them on was a slight chore for me. Overall, this is a great product for display and nostalgia.

why does this X-Wing fighter not come with its pilot Luke Skywalker because it comes with R2-D2 which is Luke Skywalkers droid and only his ship contains R2-D2.So the next time you make a ship make it come with its pilot.

So my first ever Star Wars Themed lego was this bad boy..... Was lucky enough to get this a Xmas present. Had a blast building this over the xmas break which was good as it stopped me from eating anymore food..... The detail in the build was amazing and reminded me why this was my favorite ship from the Star wars movies...... Tried to take my time and enjoy the build, instead of smashing them out like you used to as a kid..
