It has taken a while but it has been assembled and is looking exquisite. We are waiting on the arrival of the light saber now to add to the piece. I will not say it was easy to assemble as it takes time and patience but it was so worth it.

The box itself was completely ruined, it was sticky, the colours has run and it was mushy which was a shame as it was a gift and didn’t have time to replace. Unfortunately would have been seen before it was sent it as the shipping box it was in was in perfect condition. I opened it to check the contents were okay and they were packaged as expected and in good condition.

I wasn't too sure about this set and thats why I didn't buy it until I heard it was being discontinued. Then the FOMO set in. I can tell you, after buying it, building it and displaying it...I have no regrets what-so-ever. This model is exquisite. As a long time star wars and lego fan...this is a must have for collectors and fans alike. The build is tricky as there are a lot of small parts but that in my mind is what makes it more fun. The feeling of accomplishment I get when I finish a tough set is part of the reason I collect lego. 5/5...if you're on the fence about this set, take the wise words of Senator Palpatine...DO IT!
