LEGO Starfighter de l'escadre B (10227, Star Wars)

What a sleeper cell this B-Wing is. I was surprised to find that by the end of building this it's become my favorite UCS set. I love that it uniquely rests on the surface for balance due to its absurd length (just under two feet) and asymmetry. My OCD tendencies are sated by the beautiful symmetry of Legos, so assembling this set at first was odd. The build quality, compared to the new sets, is also fairly poor. Certain pieces just don't quite fit together as well as they should, and it is *very* delicate. The stand also leaves you wishing it were just a little sturdier (but at least it's not as atrocious as the one for Death Star II!). This B-Wing looks plain at first glance, but once I got my hands on it - despite the occasional frustration of its delicacy - I loved it so much. Again, surprisingly my favorite. I bought this a little over a year ago and still admire it the same as when I built it.

Good Gravy I like these Star Wars collector sets. I have wanted this set since I seen it 2 years ago. Best ship so far.

There are no words, the cockpit is amazing! They really done It with this model, i love it. Building It is awesome and fun, too bad that It doesn't have a minifigure, but it's ok. It's really big and It looks beatiful, and another thing, to have It as a collectible is a good option, there are very few for sale!

Great kit. A little expensive, but worth it for whatit adds to your collection. Challenging and fun, about 4 hours to build.
