Pros: Very swooshable vehicle build without unnecessary extras on the side. I like the figures and while not exactly movie accurate in Klaue and Killmonger's case they were a nice take on them. The ship has nice shooting blasters and looks good in comparison the the on screen versions. It displays very well. The value per part is also reasonable. Cons: Stickers on curved parts.

The set has a glaring omission. Since the mask is not done as a helmet but rather a printed head, it should really come with a head an hair piece to portray T'Challa with his mask off. He frequently had his face exposed while wearing the remainder of the suit. This is the hero of the movie, and Lego hasn't released a single set with T'Challas face exposed. Minifig with no suit would be even better. The ship is pretty nifty but has no real interesting play features or gizmos. It would have been nice if the bottom of the ship could open so the Black Panther could drop out the bottom. I also wish the instruments were not stickers but rather printed pieces. As a side note, my windshield came warped from the factory so it won't close. I have ordered a free replacement. The Killmonger helmet is nice and made out of rubber. Funny that he gets a helmet and head but the hero just gets a head. I really think Lego should include hair to replace helmets, and faces to replace printed mask heads.

It's like night and day between the two BP sets that were released. This has one negative, and that's the BP fig itself. Everything else in this set is on fleek as the cool kids would say. Figs are amazing and the ship is great!

When I watched the movie, I realized I had t buy these sets as soon as possible. There are so many well-developed themes throughout the movie and the sets for Black Panther were incredibly detailed and fun to play with. Kilmonger is my personal favorite mini-figure in this set, since the head piece was what was so iconic in this movie. The one thing I would have added was the etchings on his body to detail all the kills he had. It sort of killed the whole premise of the characters name, but I understand it would have costed more to get these details for Lego. The ship was an amazing build and I had a blast putting the fin like pieces in. The jail-cell within the Royal Talon was really interesting to put in the set, however, I felt like it was a bit too disproportional for the entire build. The cockpit too small, since it was only enough room for one character to play in. Overall, I am really excited to place this set and the Rhino in my Avengers themed area in my City!
