I bought this for my 6 year old, even though this is rated for 8+ I felt this was his level and it is very good, it has moving gears both on the bike wind-back mechanism and truck steering, and has a good amount of Lego Technic. He only needed help pushing in a few difficult to push in parts but otherwise followed the instructions himself. I was impressed at the result, it's great looking set and the bike really does jump through the hoop by itself. Works well.

This is a fabulous set. It is very cleverly designed and works well. An 8year old completed it with adult help.

Really fun. The pull-back was stronger than I expected, it goes the length of my apartment - a decent 7-8 metres
