Bialetti Pressofiltro 1 L

This is a nice looking coffee press and does make a nice cup of coffee. The guide for water to coffee cups ratio is based on very small cups, we just adjusted quantities to our mugs at home. What i am very disappointed in is that i am having to purchase a second Glass for my coffee press as the original one has developed a stress fracture in it - Not good for only being 6 months old and only used for breakfast coffee. I can not see a guarantee policy anywhere for this product. I don't really think 6 months life expectancy on the glass is acceptable when i have bought much cheaper presses that have lasted for years.

Well, I knew it wouldn't last forever, but I expected it to last me more than two months. The glass jug cracked and shattered in the sink. For some reason, the jug is made from the thinnest glass known to man so it was expected. It appears the cost to replace the jug is the same as buying the whole thing again (which I won't be, sadly). It does looks nice, but don't bother.

You can make 1 and a half cups at best. Might as well get the bigger version for the price. Far too expensive for what you get.

This arrived early and it's beautiful. I have Bialetti Moka pots and didn't know that Bialetti had plungar jugs as well. It works well and looks very lovely in my kitchen,

I HAD ONE OF THESE 20YRS AGO AND IT WAS STURDEY METAL THIS VERSION IS NOT UP TO THAT STANDARD SEVERAL PARTS ARE PLASTIC THAT AFFECT FLAVOUR .THIS MAY GO AFTER A WHILE 6/10
