It would appear that you get what you pay for. This machine has quality build and makes excellent coffee. It is straightforward to operate and clean. I would suggest before taking it from the box and setting it up , read the instruction book, you will have no problems at all.

Our second such coffee maker. Might seem old fashioned compared to all the capsule coffee makers, but the coffee it produces is excellent and I would not swap it for anything else.

The coffee is ok, but the coffee pots tend to shatter and are very expensive to replace. We had ours about four days before one shattered- the plastic top fell into the pot, reaching it out the entire pot exploded into shards of glass. I went online and saw this is a common problem with this machine. Replacements are available but they aren't cheap. I advise looking into the price of replacement pots before making the purchase.
