This stand is extremely disappointing, even though it was included “free” with the 77" LG G5 TV—which itself feels like a poor value. The stand causes the TV to lean backwards by more than 15 degrees, making it obvious that something is wrong or defective. I contacted LG multiple times and was told that because the stand was included for free, it is not covered under warranty, and my only option is to purchase a replacement. Bottom line: I spent nearly $5,000 on this 77”G5 TV and LG soundbar and received a bent, unsupported stand with no help from LG. Be cautious when buying directly from LG—you may get little to no support and a lot of runaround.

I don't understand why a leading brand in technology would make this TV stand/pedestal an extra purchase and then make it with a backwards tilt. Far too expensive for its purpose when universal stands present a far better viewing appearance for less than half the price. Returning.

This is a fantastic stand that is well-built and pairs perfectly with my LG G5 77 inch tv. I felt the need to write this review after reading an earlier review that the stand tilted the tv 15 degrees. It should be obvious that isn’t true. Here is a photo of my tv and stand. There is a minimal tilt on the order of approximately 3 degrees which is intentional by design to increase the stability of the tv and to minimize reflections. If LG can create a high-end tv as good as this then of course they are going to make a perfect stand to go with it.

Bought this for a new G5, but the tv arrived broken. Returned it and didn’t use the stand so it was a complete waste of money.

Paid for overnight delivery and I received this stand (which you can only purchase from LG) a month later. Disgusting and unsatisfactory for the amount of money LG is getting from customers.
