SteelSeries Arctis Prime Casque Gamer Filaire

My boy swears by this brand of headsets. We've tried so different brands and they last maybe 12 months tops. The steelseries last well and even after a battering still work. This model original RRP we as £100. However managed to snag it half price on a prime day deal. Do love a bargain.

useless mic unless you like having to press it to your lips to pick up anything

Absolutely excellent, I was very hesitant at first going back to a wired headset from a console branded wireless one, reason i made the change... sick and tired of charging and swapping between consoles. This works a treat on everything i have thrown at it, which is so far... PS5, Xbox Series X, Switch and PC. The sound these produce is excellent for gaming, does lack a little in bass for music but to be fair this isnt what they are designed for. Footsteps in FPS games can be heard amazingly well (even in MW2 which has been an issue for a lot of gamers). The microphone is also high class and the speech received by your friends/fellow gamers can't be faulted, clear as a whistle.

sounds good and very comfortable but the mic broke within 2 months

This headset is quite good, sound is good, comfortable and acceptable noise cancelling. The problem is the connection system to the PC which ruins it all. It uses an extra cable and for some reason I dont know my computer do not recognizes it
