I'm very pleased with the purchase of my Rode M1 microphone. I have been a pro musician since 1972 and have had numerous mics over this period...of course Shure 58's were the popular choice, but the Rode M1 is a stand out great vocal mic with dynamic performance...love it!! I've found it very handy and responsive as an overhead mic on my drum kit as well...best of both worlds
