The screw came loose on the first use, detaching the hot shoe from the mic body and leaving it hanging by only the mic cable.

It's difficult to pack into a rucksack and feels very fragile. You cannot look through the viewfinder when attached. I use it on Sony RX10 with Godox screen but the whole assembly feels loose even on a gimballed tripod. Sound quality about acceptable.

Bought primarily to use as a directional mic on an iPad running Blackmagic Camera v 2.2. Deffo more focussed sound than the Apple internal mic up to about 3m, which is fine for Pieces To Camera and interviews. Jackplug monitoring facility useful. Decent Andertons Black Friday discount, too

After setting to manual and adjusting the settings it works perfectly. No perceptible auto focus noise
