Shure VP64A Omnidirectional Reporter Microphone

We use this unit (actually one we bought two years ago) almost daily and its awesome in a medium market television news environment. We have young staff and accidents could happen but this is a great value professional sounding appearing mic. BH does it again!

I ordered this to do some freelance work. It worked great! Picked up clean audio even in noisy backgrounds and in windy outdoor weather! I definitely recommend. It's worth every penny.

What the SM58 is for music production or PA, the VP64 is for TV/Documentary/News. An absolute classic. Every pro in the field knows it. Reliable and robust. Simply the best bang for the buck.

I was looking for a good quality mic at a low price that would look professional and deliver high quality audio and this did the trick!

Use the mic to take interviews at parties and corporate functions.
