Leatherman Sidekick + Étui

Perfect size for our motorbike touring that we are planing on doing. Fits in our panniers perfectly.

From my point of view, the tools included are useful. The pliers are sprung, something I am not used to. But useful. Do remember, the main blade and saw are lockable. Therefore, not EDC compliant. Overall a well made product.

well built but if your going to cut strand type wire (automotive) these wont work. They have an anvil type wire cutter that is only used for a single wire such as household wiring. This information is not found on leathermans product description anywhere.

I like this Leatherman Free K4 Multi Function Pocket Knife. The blade is sharp and sharpens well. The onboard tools are a little stiff to open with the thumb and sometimes it takes quite a bit of effort to open properly. I expect that it will loosen up over time. The small scissors are very good and cut through most things, All in all, another fine Leatherman product.

I've been using the leatherman sidekick for the last 5 months or so it's been in my pocket pretty much everyday. Working on a construction site minimum 5 days a week. It's been fishing camping used to help me fix my car all sorts of handy little things. It's never broken it's not rusty everything still works had to sharpen the knife and I wash it and put a small amount of oil on it once a month. It might be a cheaper leatherman but it's a high quality product very happy with mine.
