Bought the monitor October 2022. The monitor was great when it worked, I loved it. I experienced some vertical lines on one section of the monitor not even a year into owning it. But a slight tilt fixed it. So it really wasn't an issue until it happened again a week before writing this review. Lesson learned. Once ANY issue comes up within the warranty period, get your product fixed or replaced, whatever the warranty cover even if a tilt of the monitor fixes it. You could have a lemon. Had a chat with support and their resolution was to tilt the monitor, but it didn't work. My product is out of warranty so they said they can repair it for $350 or have another party fix it. I expected this to last more than 2 years especially at its price point. I am very disappointed this monitor didnt last at least 2 years. 1 year manufacturers warranty may be too short for a monitor at this price. Not so great first impression, so I don't know if I'll purchase another LG monitor.

The LG 32GQ950 is decent for PC gaming. Although its max 160Hz refresh rate isn't high enough for competitive gaming, it's still fine for casual gaming, and it supports VRR to reduce screen tearing. It has low input for a responsive feel and a consistently fast response time at any refresh rate, but there's still some blur with fast-moving objects. One of the downsides is that it has limited picture quality in dark rooms due to its low contrast, and blacks look gray, but it gets bright enough to fight glare in well-lit rooms.

The LG 32GQ950 is an excellent 32″ 4K 144Hz IPS monitor for SDR content, gaming, color-critical work and everyday use. However, while some HDR scenes are great, others are underwhelming, so it’s not the best option for HDR content consumption at this price range.
