One of the best wide zooms form Canon, sharp and handles distortion well. The 35mm is better than 24-105mm f4 L IS II

bought as a gift for my partner as she knows what she's doing. amazing build quality and the pictures are as good as you want them to be. my only gripe is the poor packaging, for the cost would of been nice to see a sturdy box but I'm Just picking. Great product

My previous wide angle decided to kick the bucket 3 days before a potential assignment. Wex used is my usual go to and I found this 16-35L at a great price (9+ rated condition) You would not be able to tell it was a used item and to that end, have saved hundreds of pounds. Delivery within 24hrs and lens performs as expected. My 4th purchase spanning across lenses and wireless speedlights. Always as described.

I use this lens for interior and landscape photography and I've been very impressed so far. Despite reviews saying that the performance is a bit weak at 35mm I haven't found this to be the case in use, at least on a 5D Mark IV body. In comparison with my 35mm f/2 IS prime lens the resolution is just as good at 35mm in the field. OK, so a faster aperture would always be nice, but this lens is good at f/4, so I'm happy to use it wide open (not always the case with faster lenses!). The IS is good too. I've used it for some astrophotography, and it resolves the stars really well, despite being 'only' an f/4 lens.

Swapped the f/2.8 mk3 version to try this lens. Recouped a fair bit of money. Not sure why but I managed to get this through Amazon for less than £700 whereas the f/2.8 had cost me £1600. Very good image quality, having IS is useful, and is my staple for wide angle shots. Good build, weather sealed and a friendly 77mm filter thread. One of canon’s better value L series lenses.
