The Canon RF 10-20mm F4 L IS STM captures more of the world in view than any other autofocusing zoom lens and is amazingly small among its closest peers.

For the money spent the lens seems like a 14-30 mm size. Compact, unobtrusive, cute. The lens cap is important and a good fit. The biggest design choice is the spherical front . No option to add a uv lens filter for protection. Yes , i am careful with my equipment, yet this lens needs that bit more. The images are meeting my expectations. Distortion is a part of the view and it is truly wonderful. Think 'fear and loathing in las vegas ' Canon style. Your imagination combined with this lens , leads to a new ultra wide perspective.

The Canon RF 10-20mm F4L IS STM is a spectacular lens. This focal range would be ultra-wide on an APS-C camera, but this is a full frame lens with specifications and an angle of view that leave you rubbing your eyes. There are some compromises. First, this is an f/4 lens, not an f/2.8. Another is that it relies on digital corrections – although this may have no practical impact. And then, of course, there’s the price. Nevertheless, the optical performance, handling and rendering of architecture, cityscapes and interiors surely make this the ultimate ultra-wide zoom.

I enjoy urban and landscape work. It is ideal for both.

Wow what a lens. I do a lot of photos in tight spaces and this lens is now a game changer. Brilliant picture quality and really fast as a lens. This lens does set the benchmark in this area of wide angle lenses and really glad to have it in the kit bag.
