I rented this lens to try before buy. The moment I picked it up, I knew I'm gonna love it. I mount it on a Canon R3 and later, on R5 Mark II. OMG, What a beauty! At F2, creates a beautiful bokeh and in a low light situation, it dominates. Images so sharp, you'd be starring at the details it captures for a few minutes. It is absolutely a masterpiece. I wish it was lighter but, worth every dollar. It's a kind of lens to keep for a long long time.

A stella prime like lens with a constant f2 aperture. It doesn’t have IS, but for those Canon R cameras with IBIS this is not a problem because the lens can achieve up to eight stops of IS from the IBIS system. It’s a beautifully balance lens on the R6 & R5 and feels lighter than it actually is, don’t be fooled though, carrying it around in your bag you know it’s there. Image quality, sharpness, contrast and colour is fantastic right through the zoom range. The downside is the price, is it worth that price, hell yes, you’ve got a 28mm, a 35mm, a 50mm and a 70mm all in an f2 zoom lens giving class leading image quality. If I was to nit pick I’d have preferred a zoom range of 24-70mm while keeping the constant f2 aperture. It’s definitely a lens to buy, or save for

"I love this lens; it is very sharp and responsive. However, the only issue I have with it is its weight."
