Fujifilm GF 45-100mm f/4.0 R LM OIS WR

This is my normal lense. A bit heavy and like it to focus closer but simply phenomenal sharpness. Cropping the image when necessary adds to practical use. Main lense of my 23 and the 100-200.

Forget the notion that the image quality produced by zoom lenses isn't comparable to primes, Fuji have produced a stunning optic in the GF -. A very useful focal range for a general walk around lens and constant f/ aperture, yes it's "chunky" but a manageable carry. I'm constantly amazed how sharp GF lenses are and the - is no exception there Images pop with excellent contrast and clarity. Build quality is excellent. In summary, this is a superb lens and probably the most versatile and useful in the GF lens line-up.

Perhaps the best of the GF zooms so far. Its build and focusing action feels more reassuring than on the -mm lens. It balances superbly on the s body. It is also pretty resistant to diffraction. I shoot landscapes all the time with it at f and there is no perceptible loss of sharpness or softening until the image is blown up to gigantic scale and even then its in the corners. focused at infinity on a mountain nat anywhere from . to its ability to render fine details is astounding. I've found it much sharper than the - at about the mm intersection between the two lenses. AF is plenty fast enough and the motors are far more reassuring than those deployed, for example, I the mm f .. Can't recommend the lenses highly enough.
