The Fujifilm Fujinon XF 16-55mm F2.8 R LM WR II delivers reliable autofocus and pro-grade f/2.8 optics. It's a worthwhile splurge for system owners who want a premium zoom lens that's built as well as an X system camera.

Even though it doesn't have OIS if you have a camera like the XT4 with IBIS (in-body stabilization) this will work out great for both video and photography. I'm not a professional photographer Image quality is great at all focal lengths and covers a wide spectrum of focal lengths that is super useful from landscapes to portraits. With f2.8 it is pretty decent at night, but would actually prefer my prime lens in varying focal lengths in the sub f2 for night photography. It's a super flexible lens that you can take pretty much anywhere with you and get pretty good images and video. Build quality is great as it is an all metal construction and it has some heft to it. It comes with a lens hood and Fujifilm also provides firmware updates for the lends through the camera app or downloads through their site. Overall the xf16-55 f.28 is a super flexible lens if you don't want to carry to many lens around with you during an event or on your travels.

The Fujifilm XF 16-55mm F2.8 R WR delivers strong optical performance and an all-weather build, but it doesn't have the on-barrel controls we've come to expect from premium lenses.
