Using this lens is fun, I am happy with my decision to buy it.The Z 35/1.8 partners like an old friend with my Nikon Zf. I like the feel of it and I like the way it handles. It is solid to the touch, light weight, and moderate in size. The latter two characteristics make it routinely easy to handhold shots down to 1/15 sec. Its semi wide angle FOV, close minimum focusing distance, and its wonderful acuity make it flexible. With only a minor shift of camera position it allows you to frame either a lot of background or only a single object. This lens has optics that hone the image to noteworthy acuity. The 35/1.8 delivers pleasing contrast to enhance the outstanding color science embodied in Nikon cameras. If you want to have fun while making photos you will be happy with, give the 35/1.8 a go. As a photographer with 71 years of experience I recommend it without reservation.

A great prime lens to have in your kit bag. Giving more flexibility in poor light and colour and contrast pops!

This lens is capable of amazing results. As it is a fast lens, the bokeh is very buttery and the subject will be razor sharp. Learn to use the lens, and you will be able to reap the amazing reward's. Be patient and the results will be astonishing
