A versatile all-round lens, just what I was looking for as on a walk I don't want to be changing lenses between shots. Only slightly slower (tighter aperture) than the kit lens but much greater reach.

The Olympus M.Zuiko ED 12-200mm F3.5-6.3 lens has a big zoom range, but image quality drops as you zoom in and there's no stabilization.

Not happy my 1st outing with the new lens, after thinking about it, I realize that I was asking to much from the 12-200mm. But now after more outings it has become my lens of choice for my type of photography.
