Excellent lens, works great on my OM1. Sharp and adaptable to many wildlife situations. Expensive but worth it. Very happy with results.

I bought this lens mainly for sport - specially rugby, maybe some cricket (if the sun ever comes out again). It is fantastic. The image quality is superb and it handles nicely. It is quite heavy, but for the job that it does it is surprisingly compact and easy to use. One thing that has impressed me more than expected is the degree of separation of the subject from the background, it seems far more pronounced than I would expect for f/4.5.

Superb lens, sharp with amazing image stabilization and very well made. Although not that light in abolute terms it is light in comparison to other manufacturers nearest equivalent lenses. Same for price, it is expensive but about half the cost of other manufacturers nearest equivalent. Extremeky versatile for wildlife and highly recommended.
