Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 8-18 mm

Initially bought this lens to access wider aspect ratios for filming 4k with a DC-G95 camera. Ended up using it also a lot for general photography. Am happy with this lens.

I added this versatile wide zoom lens the was needed for my all round stills but mostly video photography. It rarely leaves the camera body. It’s speed and sharpness is worthy of the Lunix - Leica label

I used this lens in the most demanding conditions in the Australian outback: every shot was publishable: true colours, superb contrast, sharp as a tack. A tiny, portable, lovable lens, and brilliant performer. The Leica Panasonic 10-25 is also a star, but much bulkier. The 8-18 is the perfect walk around city zoom

I bought this lens not only because I needed a truly wide angle lens in my collection, also I travel a lot around the world, and in a city environment it’s ideal to get the perfect shot. Along with the Leica brand, it fits in perfectly with my photographic requirements

My favourite MFT UWA zoom, albeit I think the 8-25mm f4 might be the a good candidate too.
