Panasonic Lumix S 50 mm f/1.8

Ordered this and never got it, horrible customer service experience

almost perfect, if the construct was not made of plastic.. at f1.8 the resolution is ALMOST perfect,, the lights remember me lens with f1.4.. great lens.. extremely recommended

For a nifty-fifty this one is awesome. Fast focusing, sharp, light and compact. For a fast little prime it fits the bill nicely. It may be a while before I can step up to the S Pro 50mm, but with this lens I feel no reason to rush.

Bought this for around 4 months. I was surprise about how sharp this lens is. Great AF for gimbals use also. I mostly use it for urban travelling, it offers the focal length I love to shoot with. Small (smaller than my hand) and great piece of gear. However, the price market in Australia is a bit overprice than other market, hence would recommend buying used than new. If possible, buying this used from Japan will be great. Anyway, love this lens. Will looking forward to other primes.

It’s my only prime lens but my fastest. You can get such a shallow depth of field that makes for a great bokeh effect.
