I like this lens, it's one of my favourites, very good Bokeh, feels quality made and handles well. I leave the tripod mount on to help grip when attached to my KP, hand held with small wrist strap for safety, I do not have a problem, weighty but ok for me, taken on hiking/walking trips in a rucksack. I can quickly remove from side pocket and take a shot. There onwards hand held for long periods no problem.

Great detail, lovely colours, nice bokeh. I am using this with a 1.4x TC and it is not too heavy, feels nice to hand hold and has almost silent autofocus. Shipping to Canada from B&H was fast and painless.

I have been increasingly interested in capturing images of birds lately. I love my 70-200 DFA and 150-450 DFA, but this lens has upped the ante significantly. Its quick to follow focus and the image quality is simply excellent! I find it to be especially well suited to my K1, although it has worked very well with my K5iis. A super piece of kit. Attached is an example of one of my photos from today...

Good Points: Not too heavy, excellent performance, very well made, great lens hood with rubberised front portion. Improvement Points: a minor issue, but it is easy to knock the auto/manual focus switch with your left hand when holding.
