I was a bit concerned about the size and weight, as it is close to the 24-70mm from Sigma, which I love, but does feel a little large. Although the dimensions and weight are around the same, this one feels more compact and nicer to use on the camera - so my one concern, weight and handling, was a non-issue. The image quality is fantastic and is exactly what you'd expect from a modern Sigma lens. I was comparing this against the Sony GM 35 f1.4. That lens is obviously a good bit smaller and lighter and still very fast with excellent image quality. However, after actually using this one, I'm fine with the weight and glad I chose the sigma for the f 1.2 and nice tactile design.

The Sigma 35mm F1.2 DG II Art lens sets itself apart from a healthy slate of competitors with its extremely wide aperture, fast autofocus, and surprisingly lightweight frame.
