Replaced my GM 1.4 with the Sigma. Auto focus is greatly improved over old GM. Lense is extremely sharp wide open. Complements my 85mm 1.4 for street photography and portrait shoots.

Good Points: Sharp and fast, with good human eye focusing Improvement Points: A little on the heavy side

The Sigma 50mm F1.4 DG DN Art lens captures great-looking photos with loads of detail and defocused backgrounds at a price that undercuts first-party glass.
