Tamron 17-50 mm f/4 Di III VXD Sony FE

This has become my all in one lens for everyday use. Its focal range is amazing on a full frame camera (mine is an A7iii). It is light, but very well made with weather sealing. Not stabilised, but a small lens and the camera body has IBIS anyway. Picture quality is good to excellent. At f4, the corners are a tad soft, but certainly usable. Stopped down to f8 and everything is sharp across the frame. This is going to be my one lens I would use in just about any situation, unless I was shooting outdoor sports or wildlife. Having a maximum aperture of f4 is not a problem, as these days, as higher ISO rates can be used without a noise issue. Great warranty from Tamron gives peace of mind and purchasing from Wex, I knew it would arrive safely and quickly.

This lens is really a great focal range, from a very wide 17mm to a standard 50mm. Hardly a need for another lens on a daily basis for me anyway. Fixed aperture of f4 is absolutely fine and centres are sharp wide open. Everything is very sharp at f8. Light enough and very compact. Weather sealed and sturdy build. Great Tamron warranty too.

It all helps, and if you can afford it then just buy it, and enjoy it all.
