It provides about 30 minutes after a power failure for my Network Attached Storage device to gracefully shutdown after a power failure. The only Issue I had was trying to hook up the battery. There is simply not enough room to do that without working at it for 10 minutes or so.

Purchased for my new qnap TS-653B. Installation was very simple. The Back-UPS Pro was connected and the NAS recconized it. Has plenty of power to keep the NAS up for enough time to safetly shutdown (50 mins as NAS reports it) System is very quite with 6 drives in a QNAP TS-653B and the system is installed on a shelf in bedroom. Very pleased.

Needed a couple of UPS units for the home. Already have a Pro 1500 for the home theater setup (heavy load) and a BE750 Back-UPS for our 'exercise room' (light load for the AV equipment). Was going to buy two 1500s but then saw the Pro 700 that fitted the requirements (medium load SoHo equipment). Found my UPS! APC batteries need replacing every so often but have never had a unit/chassis fail.

Have been using APC UPSes for years, and this is a replacement for an older similar capacity model. Must say I really like the readout; knowing battery charge and estimated remaining time is very useful. Our wi-fi modem is plugged into this; with everything else off, we had more than 2 hours of use (neither blackout lasted that long). And the alarm mute control is fantastic. We had two blackouts in the past week (highly unusual...) and appreciated just having a single alarm going off upstairs. May upgrade our other upstairs unit to this model too.

Purchased this UPS in order to protect my daughter's iMac during the too many Power Flickers our Utility delivers at least twice a week. An iMac and Lenovo Laptop are hooked into this Power Source since almost a month ago and so far we did not see ant power disturbance propagated to our equipment.
