Schneider Electric Back-UPS Pro 1500VA BR1500G-GR (noir,au détail)

After about a year I started getting a fault and complete shutdown on even a momentary power outage, or get this, just randomly every couple weeks! So not only has the unit completely failed to perform it's function, it's actually causing additional problems. Max loads aren't even a third of the 1500 watt rating, yet here we are. Time to see if their warranty holds up (will update with the results), but that's kinda beside the point. Go elsewhere if you want reliability.

This my third APC backup unit and it's performing just as good as my other two that are still going strong after years of use. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with an APC unit.

Arrived promptly in new condition. Instructions were not clear. I called tech support and was rapidly and efficiently helped. Only comment is that the cd software is not Mac compatible.

APC UPS's are reputable, good quality, super solid, and with awesome support. Otherwise I wouldn't look at them. Just bought Back-UPS BR1500G plus external battery pack for home use due to COVID-19 working from home all the time. The cooling fan noise is not too loud but definitely very noticeable in home office setup, which is died quiet generally. Personally I can't stand this noise the whole day and everyday at home! I do NOT recommend this UPS for home use, unless you plan to put it in a remote closet or corner. Very disappointed with APC: making super quiet fans and better cooling management is not difficult at all in nowadays.

can't really try this yet cos you need to get IDE extension cords, PLEASE NOTE! Look at the back of the machine, it doesn't let you plug in any power cables as the North american version does!
