I have had this pc for 18 months, and when it worked it was fantastic. Unfortunately, the motherboards are all faulty, and it is a ticking time bomb as to when yours packs up. In the past 6 months it has happened 3 times, but this time it is terminal. I cannot find a way to contact HP.

This is a pre-built, so parts are obviously dearer than what you'd be able to pick up yourself (HP builds it, has to offer support, and pay the staff behind it). I've seen multiple reports of parts being "OEM-locked" whilst looking for ways to upgrade myself (bought in 2020 originally, 2024 as of writing), but I personally cannot attest to this yet. The system has held up fairly well, the cable management inside the system is fairly neat, and I felt there wasn't much "bloatware" on the device itself. The packaging was sturdy, and enclosed the PC entirely. I'm not an expert on packing, sadly, but I reckon it could take a knock or two in transit (if you're worried about such things).

Bought this around a month ago, it kept crashing on games like dota2 (not a graphics heavy game) and cyberpunk (a graphics heavy game). Tried to update drivers, cables, read all help online. Made a thread at hp support, finally sent it to Amazon repairs they sent it back and asked to contact the seller….very disappointed

Might have to return it gets very load when playing games, performance wise it’s a 3080 and an and 5800X so you can check reviews online but even with headsets on its very noticeable

Purchased on the Black Friday deal. It had a initial issue on the video memory, which was something that I could've expected, but the real issue was that the warranty period for the product had expired already on the day of the very first delivery so that I had to purchase an extra warranty program in order to fix it for the reasonable price. The product is fine itself - all that I could advise you is to purchase them from the authentic vendor. A deal looks favourable superficially, though there is a reason for the low price in fact.
