Agent Provocateur Eau de Parfum est connu comme un chypre classique très sensuel, construit autour d’une rose sombre, de musc, de patchouli et d’une vraie ambiance boudoir. De nombreux utilisateurs le décrivent comme un parfum femme fatale addictif, avec une projection marquée et une excellente tenue, ce qui fait que quelques pulvérisations suffisent et que le rapport qualité‑prix est jugé intéressant. En revanche, ce n’est pas une fleur légère et facile à porter : la forte présence de musc et la facette légèrement « sale » divisent les avis et peuvent rapidement sembler trop intenses, surtout par temps chaud ou en milieu professionnel. Le parfum évolue peu sur la peau et reste longtemps dans la même atmosphère dense et sensuelle. Il conviendra donc surtout à ceux qui recherchent une fragrance de soirée marquée et sensuelle, à utiliser avec parcimonie, et moins à ceux qui préfèrent des parfums frais, discrets ou très polyvalents.

This is definitely not a modern or trendy fragrance. But that’s part of its beauty if you ask me. To those who appreciate a wide range, this one harkens back to a time where chypres reigned supreme. Nowadays, the term chypre is thrown about Willy-nilly, and most of the time fails to convey what exactly a chypre is. Sure, a fragrance may fit within a standard definition of the word, but I believe that no, most modern fragrances dubbed chypres are done so erroneously. This one here, at least to my nose, captures the soul of a true chypre all whilst delivering a beautiful rose scent and a whole hell of a lot of femininity. If you only like gourmands and sticky sweet scents, you will abhor this. But if your appreciation of fragrance runs deep, this is a great one to be had for a song.

I bought this as a blind buy so how I feel about it is not the same as someone else. To me it smells like degraded French perfume from 1920 you’d have found in an antique store. Beautiful bottle but contents are terrible. Very floral but old lady floral. If you like this, it’s a good value for the money as it’s such a large bottle.

I adore agent provocateur, it makes me feel so feminine, I get asked all of the time, one lady even went smelling everyone till she came to me, she loved the perfume too, please don’t take it off the moment
