Angua has described it very, very well. I can also clearly smell rum in the opening. The beginning is exactly to my taste (I haven't liked patchouli for long). Wonderful, warm, almost hot, earthy, delicious... In my opinion, the scent is quite far from being a crypt scent (the patch from PR comes to mind... grrrrrrr) After an hour, I wonder in astonishment who swallowed the patchouli, where has it gone? Instead, the scent increasingly resembles the "Amber" by Franck Boclet... Amber and tonka bean are so present that nothing else has a chance on my skin. Man, I wanted a patchouli scent, hmmmm, no, this one isn't it. However, if you like warm amber: Definitely try it and definitely finish the test only after an hour. PS: Does that mean it’s der or das Patchouli?

Just pick 1 from the scent pyramid, or press, like I do, once on dry wood, that's just fine. Here, the perfumer really dug deep into the trick, uh, wood box. Actually, he didn't really want to be a perfumer at all, but a carpenter. Parquet, laminate, and sawdust are his main drive. A bit of glue to hold everything together nicely. Please make the glue metaphor yourself. No burning, no smoke, little resin. Absolutely no clove, I would smell that. Alcohol? If you ask me, but it's not in here. Branches, floorboards, planks; edge strips, cut at an angle. 1 Zig typical? No. But I can't quite recall the scent twin(s). Maybe something from Eau d'Italie. Yes, definitely. Otherwise, wood. A bit mustier, more masculine aroma, but in a nice way, can be worn like this, even as a woman. A tip-top scent, well crafted, and you can wear it anywhere. It's no coincidence that David Bowie dedicated one of his songs to this fragrance. Find the 2!
